Knit our Cloudberry Bodysuit and Hat. Designed to fit 33–53 cm (13–21 in) dolls or premature to 3‑month‑old babies, this outfit uses double knitting wool and has a half fisherman’s rib pattern and is finished with fold‑over rib cuffs and leg edges,
The Hat echoes the same serene stitch pattern and is completed with a fold‑over rib brim for a classic finish. A pompom crowns the top, giving the set its cloudberry charm.
Design: The Bodysuit and Hat are knitted with a half fisherman’s rib pattern and rib stitch borders. The bodysuit is knitted on straight needles as one piece to the yoke where the sleeves are joined in. Stitches are picked up to complete the opening at the front.
Sizes: Includes 3 sizes to fit doll: 13-15 (16-18, 19-21) inches or 33-38 (41-46, 48-53) cms. Also suitable for a premature (newborn, 0–3-month-old) baby
Yarn: The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply)
Main picture shows the outfit knitted using Sirdar Snuggly DK in shade Cream (303).
Skill: Intermediate. Written instructions provided.
Needles: Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.
