The Frosted Lace Bodysuit and Hat is created using double knitting (DK) wool and designed to fit dolls 15–18 inches (38–46 cm). The bodysuit showcases a delicate lace pattern and a beautifully shaped ruffled yoke, finished with a white‑tipped edge. The cuffs are worked in folded rib and the button opening at the back makes dressing easy.
The matching hat mirrors the lace design and includes small earflaps for a snug fit, completed with a crochet edging for a soft, decorative touch.
Design: The Bodysuit is knitted on straight needles as one piece to the yoke where the sleeves are joined in. Stitches are picked up for the buttonbands. Also included is a matching Hat with a crochet edged (optional).
Sizes: Includes 1 size to fit doll: 38-46 cms or 15-18 inches.
Yarn: The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply.
Skill: Intermediate. Written instructions provided. Experience needed to complete the ruffled yoke.
Tension: 22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.
