About the Knitting Pattern

The Frosty the Snowman Hats are designed for little ones aged 0–3 years, featuring a cheerful snowman motif wearing a bright red hat and green scarf. These cosy winter hats add a joyful pop of colour, perfect for chilly days and festive celebrations. The pattern includes two styles — a Bobble Hat and a Teabag Hat — both knitted using double knitting (DK) wool. The pattern is written in English and supplied as a digital download PDF.

Design Details

This pattern includes two hat designs:

• Pattern 1: A bobble hat with a snowman motif and a soft pom‑pom on top.

• Pattern 2: A teabag‑style hat featuring the same snowman motif, topped with a row of icicles and finished with tassels at each corner.

Both hats are worked flat on straight needles, and the snowman motif is created by following the included chart.

Instructions are included for four sizes:

• 0–6 months

• 6–12 months

• 12–24 months

• 24–36 months

Skills Level

Intermediate. The pattern includes written instructions, but some experience working from a chart is recommended for the motif.

• 1 × 50g ball each of Navy, White, and Green

• Oddments of Red, Orange, and Black for the snowman details

• 3.25 mm (USA 3) and 4.0 mm (USA 6) straight needles
