Create our dolls clothes suitable for size 36-46 cms/14-18 inches.  The Little BlocksBodysuit features ribbed edges worked in a tiny block pattern and the mock cabled yoke gives the upper section a refined, decorative twist.  The matching Little Blocks Hat echoes the same textured block motif around its edge and has i‑cord ties.

DesignThe bodysuit is knitted on straight needles as one piece to the yoke where the sleeves are joined in.  Stitches are picked up to complete the opening at the back. Double pointed needles are needed for the hat’s icords and the rest of the hat is knitted on straight needles.

SizesIncludes 3 sizes to fit doll: 14, 16, 18 inches or 36, 41, 46 cms.

YarnThe pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply).

Main picture shows outfit knitted using Sirdar Snuggly DK in shades: Cream (303) and Little Bud (439).

Skill:  Intermediate.  Written instructions provided.

Tension:  22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.
