The Valentina Dolls Bodysuit and Hat are knitted using DK wool and suitable for size 38-46 cms/15-18 inches. The bodysuit features twisted rib edgings, a V‑pattern and a beautifully defined row of bobbles circling the yoke.
The Hat echoes the bodysuit’s design, with a matching bobble row above the ribbed brim, creating a perfectly balanced and cohesive look.
Design: The bodysuit is knitted on straight needles as one piece to the yoke where the sleeves are joined in. Stitches are picked up to complete the opening at the back.
Sizes: Includes 1 size to fit doll 15-18 inches or 38-46 cms.
Yarn: The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply). You will need 1 x 100 gram ball of the Main Shade and 1 x 100 gram ball of Contrast wool.
Skill: Intermediate. Written instructions provided.
Tension: 22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.
Needles: Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.
