Trip to Somerset

Visiting Somerset during a heatwave meant exploring in nearly 37‑degree sunshine, but the views made every step worth it. Glastonbury Tor stood proud against the clear sky, Stonehenge looked ancient and and Wells Cathedral was stunning.  We got some respite from the heat in the caves at Cheddar Gorge before embarking on another mammoth climb to Jacob’s Ladder.  Loved every minute of it!

Trip to Prague

Back from a few days in Prague which has to be my favourite European city and I wish I’d stayed longer.

Highlights - the food, the architecture and the coypus who got so close to the camera, I thought he was coming in for a kiss.

Only lowlight was the cobbled streets as my feet are now killing me. Only cure has to be feet up and back to the knitting!
