The Sleigh Ride Teddy Tank Tops feature a teddy bear wrapped up in a Christmas jacket and hat, seated proudly on a sleigh gliding across the snow. This pattern includes two neckline options—a round neck and a V-neck. Both versions are knitted in double knitting (DK) wool and are designed to fit children from 6 months to 3 years old. The pattern is written in English and supplied as a digital download PDF.

Design Details

The front and back are worked separately from the bottom up. Stitches are picked up to complete the neckline and the armhole edges. A chart is provided for the motif.

Sizes

Instructions include three sizes:

• 6–12 months

• 1–2 years

• 2–3 years

Skills Level

Intermediate. Written instructions are provided, but experience working from a chart is recommended for completing the motif.

Yarn

Double knitting (DK) wool. Alternative equivalents: USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply.

The tops shown are knitted using Stylecraft Special DK in the following shades: French Navy (1854), White (1001), Lipstick (1246), Camel (1420), Mustard (1823), Mocha (1064) and Black (1002).

Needles

3.25 mm and 4.0 mm straight needles (USA sizes 3 and 6)
