About the Knitting Pattern

The Little Flower Dresses includes two styles—a short‑sleeved dress and a sleeveless version—designed to fit children from birth to 7 years old. The skirt features a delicate little flower pattern, framed with classic moss stitch edgings for a textured finish. Knitted in double knitting wool, each dress has a button opening at the back to make dressing easier. With two style options and six sizes, this pattern offers year‑round versatility for little wardrobes. The pattern is written in English and supplied as a digital download PDF.

Design Details

The front and back are knitted separately and sewn together. A moss stitch neckband is added by picking up stitches, and stitches are also picked up to create the button band at the back. For the sleeves, you can choose between:

• Short sleeves, knitted separately and sewn on

• A sleeveless option with moss stitch armhole edgings picked up and worked in place

·        6–12 months

·       1–2 years

·       2–3 years

·       4–5 years

·       6–7 years

Yarn

Designed for double knitting (DK) wool. Suitable alternatives include USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply.
