The Dewdrop Dresses collection brings together three variations of the same design — a sleeveless dress, a short‑sleeved dress, and a pinafore — each featuring the same charming dot pattern that gives the set its soft, dewy texture.
Knitted in double knitting (DK) wool, all three designs are finished with moss‑stitch edgings that frame the bodice and hem. The sleeveless and short‑sleeved versions fasten at the back with buttons, while the pinafore has button‑strap openings for easy dressing.
Designed to fit dolls 41–51 cm (16–20 inches).
Design: The dresses have an easy to knit skirt pattern and a moss stitch border and you can opt for sleeves or sleeveless. The front and back are knitted separately on straight needles and the sides sewn together.
Sizes: To fit 3 sizes: 16, 18 and 20 inches or 41, 46 and 51 cms.
Yarn: The pattern uses double-knitting wool. An alternative would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply for international knitters The picture shows the outfits knitted using Rico Baby Classic DK in shades Dusky Pink (040) and Cream (002).
Skill: Intermediate. Written instructions provided.
Tension: 22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.
Needles: Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.
Other requirements:
2 (3, 3) buttons for Short Sleeved Dress and Sleeveless Dress
2 (2, 2) buttons for Pinafore Dress
