The Angel Tulip Lace Set is created using double knitting (DK) wool and is suitable for dolls 38-46 cms/15-18 inches.  It comprises of an angel top, shorts, bonnet and matching blanket.  The main feature is a pretty tulip lace pattern, and the angel top, bonnet and blanket also have a bramble stitch edging which is knitted separately and sewn into place.

Design:  The front, back and sleeves of the angel top are knitted separately and sewn together.  Stitches are picked up for the neckband and back button borders.  The shorts have garter stitch leg edgings and a rib waist which you can add shirring elastic to ensure a perfect fit.  The blanket and bonnet edging are knitted separately and sewn in place and satin ribbon is added for the bonnet ties.

Sizes: 1 size included to fit a doll 15-18 inches/38-46 cms or newborn baby.  Blanket (finished size is 20 x 18 inches/51 x 46 cms)

Yarn:  Double knitting wool required (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply). 

Outfit shown in main picture is knitted using Rico Baby Classic DK in shades Powder (038) and White (001).  Blanket uses Rico Baby Classic DK in shades Light Green (027) and White (001).

Skill:  Intermediate.  Written instructions provided. 

Tension:  22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension. 

Needles:  Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.

Other requirements:

3 buttons.

Satin ribbon for the Bonnet.

Shirring elastic for the Shorts is optional.

The Lacy Diamonds Angel Top Set is a three‑piece ensemble featuring an angel top, pants, and hat, each featuring a lacy diamond pattern.  The angel top has a double frilled hem and a mock cable yoke. A button‑back opening completes the top, making dressing simple.

The matching pants and hat echo the same lacy diamond pattern, bordered with garter stitch edgings for a soft, classic finish. Designed in double knitting (DK) wool, this pattern fits dolls sized 31–46 cm (12–18 inches) and is also suitable for a premature to newborn baby.

Design:  The front, back and sleeves of the Angel Top are knitted separately and then slipped onto the same needle to complete the yoke.  Stitches are picked up for the back buttonbands. Also included is a pattern for a matching Hat and Pants.

Sizes:  2 sizes to fit doll 12-14 (15-18) inches or 31-36 (38-46) cms.   Also suitable for a premature (newborn baby).

The Star Stitch Dress and Bonnet are designed to fit dolls 41–51 cm (16–20 inches) using double knitting (DK) wool. Both the dress and bonnet have a textured star stitch panel and garter stitch edgings. The dress back opening is fastened with buttons.  The bonnet is finished with satin ribbon ties.

Design:  For the dress, the front, back and sleeves are knitted separately on straight needles and sewn together.  Stitches are picked up to complete the neckline and for the opening at the back with buttons added. The matching bonnet is fastened with satin ribbon.

Design Details

Both dresses include a button‑back opening. The front, back, and sleeves are knitted separately on straight needles and sewn together, with stitches picked up for the neckline and buttonband. The sleeveless dress features picked‑up stitches around the armholes. The bonnet echoes the little knots design and moss stitch trims, finished with i‑cord ties and pompoms. Bootees and a matching blanket complete the set, each incorporating the same textured pattern and moss stitch borders.

The Horseshoe Lace Dress and Hat is designed to fit dolls 38–46 cm (15–18 inches) using double knitting (DK) wool. The dress has a horseshoe lace pattern, worked from the hem up to the neatly shaped yoke. A textured bobble border, knitted separately and sewn on, adds a decorative finish. Create our two summer sundresses for your doll. Both are quick to knit and designed to fit a wide range of dolls from 30–46 cm (12–18 inches).  They feature garter stitch borders, picot hems, shoulder straps with a button fastening and each dress is worked flat in DK yarn before being seamed.  A pretty slip stitch pattern is applied around the bottom of the skirt.
