About the Knitting Pattern

The Double Peekaboo Santa Jumper is a festive children’s knit designed to fit ages 6 months to 3 years. Worked in soft double knitting (DK) wool, this sweater features a playful double Santa motif—two Santas peeking over the rib on the front and the back of the jumper and includes a three-button shoulder opening for easy dressing. The pattern is written in English and supplied as a digital download PDF.

Design Details

The front, back, and sleeves are knitted separately from the bottom up. Stitches are then picked up to complete the neckline. A chart is provided for the Santa motif.

Sizes

The pattern includes instructions for three sizes:

• 6–12 months

• 1–2 years

• 2–3 years

Skills Level

Intermediate.  Written instructions are provided, but you will need experience working from a chart to complete the motif.

Yarn

Designed for double knitting (DK) wool. Suitable alternatives include USA Light Worsted or Australian 8‑ply yarns.

• Ice Blue (023)

• Red (009)

• White (001)

• Light Pink / Powder (038)

• Black (099)

Needles

• 3.25 mm (USA 3) and 4.0 mm (USA 6) straight needles

Other Requirements

• 3 buttons

• Stitch holders

• Small crochet hook (optional) for helping pull yarn through to form pompoms
