About the Knitting Pattern

A children’s Christmas jumper featuring four colourful snowmen — two on the front and two on the back — each wearing a brightly coloured hat and scarf. Each snowman has a bobble nose and a pompom‑topped hat, adding playful texture little ones adore. Knitted flat in pieces using double knitting (DK) wool, the jumper includes a button opening at one shoulder for easy dressing. Charts are provided for the snowmen motifs, making this a perfect project for using up small amounts of DK yarn.

Yarn

Knitted in double knitting (DK) wool. Suitable alternatives: USA Light Worsted or Australian 8‑ply.

The jumper in the picture uses Stylecraft Special DK in: Lipstick (1246), White (1001), Green (1116), Mustard (1823), Turquoise (1068), Violet (1277), Black (1002) and Jaffa (1256).

Needles

• 3.25 mm (US 3) straight needles

• 4.0 mm (US 6) straight needles

Other Requirements

• 3 buttons

• Stitch holders

• Small crochet hook (optional) for helping pull yarn through when making pompoms
