The Herringbone Pinafore Dress is designed for babies and toddlers from 6 months to 2 years old. Worked in double knitting wool, the skirt features a beautifully structured herringbone pattern, flowing into a gentle wavy hemline. Moss stitch edgings frame the design with classic definition.  Button strap openings make it easy to dress your child.

Design:  The front and back are knitted separately on straight needles and the sides sewn together.  Four buttons are stitched on to the front to fasten the straps.

Sizes:  The pattern includes 4 sizes to fit a child: 6m, 12m, 18m and 24 months old.

Yarn:  The pattern uses double-knitting wool. The picture shows the outfit knitted using Rico Baby Classic DK in shade 025.

Skill:  Intermediate.  Written instructions provided.

Tension:  22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.

Needles:  Size 4mm (USA 6) needles are required.
