About the Knitting Pattern

The Rudolph Garland Jumper is a festive children’s knitting pattern designed to fit ages 3 to 9 years old. Rudolph the Red‑Nosed Reindeers decorate the neckline, each with a bright red bobble nose for a playful, tactile finish little ones will adore. Knitted in double knitting (DK) wool, the jumper is completed with ribbed edges at the neckline, cuffs, and hem for a tidy, stretchy fit that holds its shape beautifully. Design Details

The jumper features a garland of Rudolph motifs worked around the front yoke. The front, back, and sleeves are knitted flat from the bottom up and sewn together. Stitches are then picked up to complete the neckline. A chart is provided for the motif.

• 3–4 years

• 4–5 years

• 6–7 years

• 8–9 years

Skills Level

Intermediate. Full written instructions are provided, but you will need experience working from a chart to complete the motif.

Yarn

Knitted using double knitting (DK) wool. (Overseas knitters may substitute USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply.)

Needles

• 3.25 mm (USA 3) and 4.0 mm (USA 6) straight needles
