About the Knitting Pattern

The Two Little Rudolphs Cardigan is a festive knit designed to fit little ones from birth to 2 years old. Worked in double knitting wool, it features two Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer motifs on the front, each with bright red noses for a joyful seasonal touch. With its round neckline, ribbed edgings and button‑fastened front, this cardigan has a timeless, easy‑to‑wear shape that’s perfect for winter days.

Design Details

The body is knitted in one piece up to the armholes, creating a smooth, seamless finish. The sleeves are knitted separately and sewn in, and stitches are picked up to work the neckband and buttonbands. A chart is included to guide you through the Rudolph motif.

Sizes

Instructions include four sizes:

• 0–3 months

• 3–6 months

• 6–12 months

• 12–24 months

Skills Level

Intermediate — written instructions are provided, but some experience working from a chart is recommended for the motif.

Yarn

Designed for double knitting (DK) wool. Overseas equivalents: USA Light Worsted / Australian 8 ply.

• Robin Bonny Babe DK — Cream (1366)

• Robin DK — Mink (143), Latte (142), Red (042), Black (044)

Needles

• 3.25 mm (USA 3) and 4.0 mm (USA 6) straight needles
