About the Knitting Pattern
The Berry Wave Set is a collection designed to fit 15–18 inch (38–46 cm) dolls or a newborn baby. Worked in double knitting (DK) wool, the set blends zigzag waves with bobbles to create a soft, berry‑inspired finish across each piece. The pattern is written in English and supplied as a digital download PDF.
Design Details
The matinee jacket begins with a bobbled hem that flows into the signature zigzag wave pattern and is worked in one piece up to the yoke. Stitches are picked up for the button bands. The romper features garter stitch edges and a central wave panel rising to a bobbled yoke. It is knitted in one piece to the yoke, where the sleeves are joined so the upper section can be worked seamlessly. The shorts echo the romper with a matching centre wave panel, garter stitch leg edges, and a ribbed waistband suitable for optional shirring elastic. The hat completes the set with its bobbled brim and all‑round wavy texture. The bootees are kept simple, finished with a bobbled top edge that ties them into the collection.
