Create our adorable Teddy Bear Motif Jumper, a classic hand‑knit worked in double knitting wool. The design features a soft brown teddy bear wearing a red scarf on the front making it an irresistible piece for little ones from birth to 3 years old and a three-button shoulder opening makes it easier to slip the sweater over your child’s head.
The pattern provides step‑by‑step instructions for sizes from newborn up to 3 years old, making it perfect for a handmade gift or everyday wear. The edges are worked in double rib and the teddy motif is worked in intarsia, giving the finished jumper a cute look that children will adore.

Yarn: The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply).
Jumper shown in main picture is for size 3-6m and knitted using:
Robin Bonny Babe DK shades: Cream (1366)
Robin DK shades: Mink (143), Latte (142), Red (042) and Black (044).
Skill: Intermediate. Written instructions provided, but experience needed to work from a chart for the motif.
Tension: 22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.
Needles: Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.
