Create a fun wardrobe staple with this raglan‑seamed Penguin Motif Jumper Knitting Pattern, designed especially for little ones aged 1–5 years. Worked in soft, practical double knitting wool, this pattern combines comfort, durability, and a delightful touch of character.
The standout feature is a cute Piper the Penguin motif. The raglan shaping ensures a comfortable fit and a classic silhouette, ideal for active toddlers and young children.
Design: The sweater has a cute penguin motif and raglan seams. The front, back and sleeves are worked separately from the bottom-up and the raglan seams sewn together. Stitches are picked up to complete the neckline. A chart is provided to complete the motif.
Sizes: 3 sizes included to fit child: 1-2, 2-3 and 4-5 years old.
Yarn: The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply).
Jumper shown in main picture is for size 2-3 years and knitted using:
Sirdar Snuggly DK in shade: Pastel Blue (321) and White (251) and Stylecraft Special DK shades: Spice (1711) and Black (1002).
