About the Knitting Pattern

The Winter Penguin Jumper is a festive knit designed for children from birth to 3 years old. The front features a cheerful penguin wrapped up warmly in a bright red scarf and Christmas hat. Knitted in double knitting (DK) wool, the jumper is finished with ribbed edges at the neckline, cuffs, and hem for a stretchy, comfortable fit. A practical three‑button shoulder opening makes dressing little ones simple, especially for babies and toddlers.

Design Details

The front, back, and sleeves are worked flat from the bottom up. Stitches are picked up to complete the neckline, and one shoulder includes a three‑button fastening to allow the jumper to open wide for easy changes. The penguin motif is worked from a chart.
